Time flies and the Christmas is coming. This year, I want to select the Christmas present on web while not in shops. Accidently, I read an interesting and incredible story during my searching, and thus I made a final decision on my Christmas present.

The story is about a popular local restaurant in London a few decades ago. The restaurant was quite popular and owns many frequently coming customers. The restaurant keeper commissioned make-to-order sterling silver cufflinks, as gift for the loyal clients of the restaurant. No matter believe or not, this cufflinks ordered by the restaurant also interested Harvey Nichols - the London fashion store who ordered the whole collection later.

This is the incredible naissance story of London Links.

It is just the thankfulness of the restaurant owner that gives birth to Links of London. Links of London jewellery was born in 1990 and during her past years, she is becoming a shining star. Especially in July, 2006, Folli Follie takes over Links of London. Thus the former one becomes the financial backing of the latter one. Links of London was named "Jewelry Brand of the Year" in UK Jewelry Awards from 2005 to 2007 and it's one of the most popular brands in market.

I think Links of London jewelry as Christmas present would be a good idea as I'm convinced by the success story of Links of London stores. The most amazing part is that Elizabeth Galton, one of my favorite designers, is creative director of Links of London. There is such an outstanding brand as Links of London, why should I consider other brands?
